OH Homeschool Moms Connect is a Facebook Group Page that is maintained for the purpose of regular communication between homeschoolers in the Oxford Hills area. We post information about Field trip plans, curriculum questions and suggestions, website recommendations and current local information about anything. If you homeschool in the Oxford Hill area, we would love to have you request to join the group. If you do not reside in the area we urge you to start your own support group.
Monthly Mom's Meeting of homeschoolers in the Oxford Hills area of Maine connect to share ideas, discuss curriculum or teaching strategies, encourage each other, and share area resources. We meet on the first Thursday of each month from September to May to share ideas and encourage each other.

Geography Kids is a program offered by the Paris Public Library for home-schoolers that focuses on exploring geographical regions. The group meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays at 10:30 or 1:00 in the children's room of the library. Librarian Mrs. Billie Damon leads the group through a variety of activities along with student produced projects on specific topics. In 2012-2013 we will be exploring the United States. Space is limited, please call the library for more information.
Geography Fair is an opportunity for homeschoolers to research a country and present their findings to other families. It includes a potlock meal with foods from the countries studied. It is held each Fall.
L.O.O.K. is Learning Oppurtunities for Our Kids. A two week summer program presented through MSAD #17 that offers enrichment classes in a wide variety of interests for elementary aged kids. Contact the MSAD # 17 District Office for details.
